PLC Siemens Automation Programmer & Commissioning

TGW Italia is looking for a PLC Automation Programmer & Commissioning Engineer to join our Controls team. You will be involved in PLC software development, on-site commissioning, testing and technical support of automated material handling and intralogistics systems at customer sites, working closely with project and on-site teams. Main responsibilities: - Develop and maintain PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7 - Prepare and execute on-site commissioning activities - Perform system integration and interface tests - Ensure compliance with safety standards and internal procedures - Troubleshoot faults and support system handover to customers and internal maintenance - Provide feedback to the Software department Requirements: - Technical background in Automation, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering - Experience with Siemens PLC programming - Knowledge of industrial communication systems (Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet, etc.) - Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (60-80%) - Good command of Italian and English languages What we offer: - Competitive salary based on experience - Travel allowances and flexible working time - Structured onboarding and training programs - International working environment within TGW Group, a global leader in intralogistics automation Location: Spilamberto (MO) - Italy
